- Baseball team to host one day camp in early June
- Menomonie (May 8, 2008) - The UW-Stout baseball team will host a Creighton University Baseball Camp, Wednesday, June 11 at the baseball field and the Sports and Fitness Center.
- Pam Sellberg, Jasmine Patzner honored with top women's track laurels
- Menomonie (May 8, 2008) - Pam Sellberg was the recipient of the 2008 UW-Stout women's track and field team's field athlete of the year and hurdler Jasmine Patzner was the recipient of the track athlete of the year award.
- Sean Larson, Kendall Wade lead men's track and field team awards
- Menomonie (May 8, 2008) - Thrower Sean Larson was the recipient of the 2008 UW-Stout men's track and field team's field athlete of the year and sprinter Kendall Wade was the recipient of the track athlete of the year award.
- Oeltjen, Peterson named all-WIAC honorable mention
- Menomonie (May 7, 2008) - UW-Stout shortstop Savanah Oeltjen and first baseman Nelly Peterson were named to the all-WIAC honorable mention softball team.
- Former Blue Devil Oties Epps now coach for Badgers
- Madison (May 3, 2008) - Former UW-Stout basketball player and asisstant coach Oties Epps has been named as an assistant coach to the University of Wisconsin women's basketball program.
- Men's golf team ties for first, but edged out by Edgewood
- Middleton (May 2, 2008) - UW-Stout tied for first place at the Edgewood College Challenge, but host Edgewood slipped past the Blue Devils for the team title by winning the tie-breaker. Derek Holmes finished in third place to lead Stout.
- Meghan Hargens named gymnastics team most valuable performer
- Menomonie (May 1, 2008) - Two-time All-American Meghan Hargens was named the UW-Stout gymnastics team most valuable performer. National balance beam champion Naomi DeLara was named most dedicated. Erika Meyer was most inspirational and Alison Thoms most improved.
- Women's golf team finishes sixth at UW-Eau Claire Spring meet
- Eau Claire (April 27, 2008) - The UW-Stout women's golf team finally got a chance to play a tournament this spring, competing at the UW-Eau Claire Spring Invitational. Molly Loney finished in a tie for 13th to lead Stout.
- Jeff DeFrancesca quietly aiding the community
- Menomonie (April 21, 2008) - UW-Stout hockey senior Jeff DeFrancesca was a finalist for the Hockey Humanitarian Award. While he did not receive the award, DeFrancesca, one of eight nation-wide finalists, quietly goes about his business helping wherever he can in his communities, in this story by Adam Parks of the Leader-Telegram.
- In final match of season, tennis team gives Eau Claire a fight
- Eau Claire (April 19, 2008) - UW-Stout came up just one win short of upsetting UW-Eau Claire Saturday as the Blugolds nipped the Blue Devils, 5-4, in Stout's final match of the season.
- Julia Hirssig, Lindsey Geissler pace women's basketball team awards
- Menomonie (April 7, 2008) - UW-Stout forward Julia Hirssig was named the UW-Stout women's basketball team's most valuable player and guard Lindsey Geissler was named the most valuable defensive player for the second year in a row.
- Wolgemuth, Hanson tabbed for USCHO.com honors team
- Menomonie (April 7, 2008) - UW-Stout defenseman Jack Wolgemuth and forward Derek Hanson were named to the USCHO.com All-Star team recently.
