Internal Communications

University Communications is responsible for most internal communication with the campus. This is accomplished in large part through UW-Stout Today (daily e-mail), official e-mail memos to campus, and through our official social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter. The office also assists the Chancellor’s Office with his official communications with campus, and advises other departments on other communication efforts.

Editorial Assistance

Many institutionwide publications are produced, developed, and maintained by University Communications working closely with other university units. In addition, the University Editor assists university units with their publication needs in cooperation with University Marketing. While priority is given to institutionwide publications, university units may seek assistance from this office to develop publications.

Finally, University Communications produces editorial content for the Alumni Office’s publications — Outlook (print) and e-Outlook (e-mail).
