Performances are November 7, 8, 9, and 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the newly renovated Harvey Hall Theatre.

The Shadow Box tells the story of three terminally ill cancer patients who reside in a country-retreat style hospice facility. The play centers on the physical and psychological issues encountered by the patient and family members. A poignant and often humorous exploration into how individuals live while facing illness and death. The Shadow Box won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play in 1977.

The Shadow Box was written by Michael Cristofer. University Theatre production directed by Paul Calenberg, Scenic and Lighting Design by Beth Janetski, Costume Design by Deb Selvig
