Call for Manuscripts
The Journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Curriculum Studies invites articles and research essays on subjects important to the intellectual advancement of American curriculum studies.
We especially invite research essays that constitute close readings of significant published texts in curriculum studies. These research essays will not only critique but also contextualize new scholarship in the history and present circumstances of the field, institutionalizing "complicated conversation" between past and present as well as between American curriculum studies and the work in other locations.
By carefully and rigorously attending to the complicated conversation that is the present and past, native and international scholarship of the field, the Journal of the AAACS will be contributing to the advancement of curriculum studies in the United States and worldwide.
