Registration Fees

Fees include morning refreshments, breaks, lunch, sessions and conference materials as indicated.
You may attend any college or university to get the full-time university rate.

To allow us to better track the needs of each attendee at the 2017 event, if the attendee needs to fulfill any requirements laid out by the Wisconsin DPI Child Care Conference, please select an attendee type beginning with CCC during the registration process. If those specific requirements are not needed, please select an attendee type beginning with FCSE.

University of Wisconsin-Stout has approved the conference for .5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). 

CEU Certificate Distribution 
In order to continue our sustainability efforts and to keep our costs low, we will only be printing CEU certificates upon request. Please indicate during the registration process how you prefer to receive your CEU certificate. There will be four options available:

  • Digital CEU-via email - Your CEU certificate will be automatically be emailed to the email address on file in a pdf format.
  • Hardcopy CEU-pick up onsite - select this option during registration if you would like to pick up a printed paper copy of your certificate at the close of the event, $2.50 handling charge.
  • Hardcopy CEU-postal delivery -select this option during registration if you would like us to mail  a printed paper copy your CEU certificate, $5.00 handling charge.

Room blocks have been secured at the following hotels at the state rate (currently $82.00). To secure a room at this rate, please be sure to reserve before the deadlines stated. A tax exempt number and form/letter will be requested by the hotel at check-in to verify tax-exempt status. Rooms blocks are listed under Family and Consumer Sciences at both locations.

Parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in Lots 29 and 34 only. Lots may fill up and spaces are not guaranteed. A parking permit will be emailed to all registrants the week prior to the conference. Please remember to print the permit prior to arriving onsite. Any parking tickets or fines incurred for parking in spaces or lots other that those indicated are the sole responsibility of the participant. Both metered and non-metered parking are also available on the streets around campus. A campus map can be found at and click on "Download Maps".

All registration fees are due a minimum of one week prior to the event start date. Registration orders with a balance due may be cancelled if payment or payment arrangement is not on file by September 22.

Refunds and Attendee Substitutions:
Full refunds will be granted upon written request through August 31. Cancellations on or after September 1st and through September 22, will be assessed a $30 processing fee. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations on or after September 23. Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of the event.

Program changes and cancellation:
The university reserves the right to make changes in programs and speakers or to cancel programs if enrollment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail.
Every effort will be made to contact each attendee if a program is not held for any reason. The university's liability is limited to the refund of the program fee.
