Earn College Credits

Secondary school students successfully completing Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses may apply for transcripted college credit from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The student will receive 3 semester credits per course, subject to the following conditions:

  • The school must be certified by PLTW
  • All requirements for the PLTW courses must be satisfied, and the student must achieve an average of 85% or better for the course
  • The college credit exam must be taken and passed with a grade of at least 70%

The University of Wisconsin-Stout will accept transcripted credit for PLTW courses from other Affiliate Universities.

Up to six (6) such credits may be used as electives toward a degree at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
