The conference attracts about 500 students from 15 high schools around the region.
Along with event judging, professionals will be able to share their knowledge and experience with students and network with other professionals. A lunch for judges is provided.
The event is coordinated by students in the UW-Stout Marketing and Business Education Association.
"DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe," said Urs Haltinner, an associate professor and director of the marketing and business education undergraduate program at UW-Stout.
"Our student members leverage their DECA experience to become academically prepared, community oriented, professional responsible and experience leaders," Haltinner said.
UW-Stout offers the only bachelor's degree in marketing and business education in the UW System. For more information, go to the website.
