University of Wisconsin Stout | Wisconsin's Polytechnic University
That’s how employers describe UW-Stout graduates. Our innovative, career-focused degrees combine applied learning and the liberal arts.
Student-athletes from UW-Stout are inviting area children to enjoy a fun, activity-filled Friday night on campus.
Kids Night Out will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 7, in the Sports and Fitness Center. More than 50 Blue Devils student-athletes will be on hand to lead children from first grade through eighth grade in games and activities.
The cost is $5. Parents need not be present but can stay if they choose. No child will be allowed to leave until picked up by a parent or guardian. Concessions also will be available but are not included in the cost.
A first responder will be present.
Activities will include dodgeball, basketball, whiffle ball, kickball and Frisbee. Children also can use the walking-running track and the swimming pool; pool hours will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Also, movies will be shown on a big screen.
Registration is available here. Preregistration isn't required.
The event is sponsored by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. For more information, contact Brett Schreiner, UW-Stout Athletics, at 715-232-2173.
