Paintings by Tim Tozer are at Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis, a sculpture by Tom Hollenbeck is at Anya Tish Gallery in Houston, Texas, and graphic designs by Vadim Gershman are in The Wrong, an international digital exhibit.
"To have three professors at one time in these highly selective exhibits is indicative of the talented teachers and artists we have on staff in the School of Art and Design," said Tamara Brantmeier, director of the school.
Tozer, an assistant professor, is one of 25 artists chosen from more than 200 who submitted for the Untitled 10, an annual juried show at Soo Visual Arts Center, 2638 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis.
The exhibit runs through Saturday, Jan. 11. For more information, click here.
Hollenbeck, an associate professor, is one of 11 artists whose works are on display during the No Time Like the Present exhibit at the Anya Tish Gallery. The gallery called Hollenbeck's sculpture "a methodically engineered yet simple and graceful structure, which juxtaposes wood and steel with the vivid color of fluorescent acrylic plastic."
The exhibit runs through Tuesday, Dec. 31. For more information, click here.
Gershman, an assistant professor, is one of 300 artists worldwide invited to exhibit in The Wrong, a biennial online exhibit and in 10 cities worldwide. The exhibit features the "best new digital art in the world" selected by 30 curators and artists, according to The Wrong.
The artists' works have been separated into art "pavilions." Gershman's work is in a digital pavilion curated by Protey Temen, a graphic designer from Russia.
