Four professors honored by professional organizations

Four University of Wisconsin-Stout professors recently received awards from professional organizations.

Chris Bendel, professor, received the Distinguished Teaching Award from the Mathematical Association of America Wisconsin Section.

Candidates for the award must be nominated by a peer and have at least seven years of teaching experience in a mathematical science.

Bendel is the first UW-Stout professor to win the award since its inception in 1992.

Susie Eberhard, professor, received the Rehabilitation Leadership Award at the Rehabilitation and Transition Conference in Elkhart Lake. Eberhard teaches in the department of rehabilitation and counseling.

Bruce Kuehl, professor, received the Carl Whitaker Award for Distinguished Service from the Wisconsin Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Kuehl recently retired from the department of human development and family studies.

Robert Meisner, assistant professor, received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute. Meisner teaches in the department of engineering and technology.
