Tamara French named Classified Employee of the Month

June 20, 2012

Tamara French, custodian, has been named Classified Employee of the Month for April.

French, of Menomonie, works in Jarvis Hall Science Wing.

The individuals nominating her stated:

“Tammie takes her responsibility seriously. She has more things to accomplish each day than almost anyone could possibly complete, and yet she does them, without complaint, and still does other things that she sees need attention.”

And, “Tammie provides great service to all of our students, faculty and staff. She is consistently pleasant and helpful in all of her interactions throughout the day. She is ethical, honest, conscientious and gracious. She represents our campus extremely well, and I am proud to consider myself a co-worker.

“Tammie is an employee that could be used as an example for others. She is efficient, dedicated and always strives for excellence in her work.”

Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen presents each Classified Employee of the Month with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout coffee mug and a check for $50.

Nominations can be made by supervisors, fellow employees or students.

The award was established by the chancellor to recognize classified employees at UW-Stout.
