More than 300 high school students expected for STEM Career Day

High school students, grades nine through 12, can experience what it might be like to major in programs such as construction, computer engineering, packaging or apparel design and development.

Registration for the event is filled, with 322 students signed up.

Students will be able to design a computer game, clone a plant, design a window security system or manufacture aluminum or plastic parts, along with many other activities.

The annual College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics event will feature 13 lab sessions, with students able to pick two potential career fields.
