Security Assistant

Security Assistants (SA) are University Housing student employees that work in conjunction with the RAs, monitor the hall between 12 midnight and 7:00 am. The Security Assistant is responsible for conducting rounds (continuously walking halls) on each respective end of campus, maintaining and ensuring security measures are in place, confronts residents as needed, and working in collaboration with hall staff and University Police to promote a secure environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Lived in UW-Stout residence halls for a minimum of 1 semester, have and maintain good academic standing.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
The Security Assistant is supervised by a Desk Services Manager.

COMPENSATION:
$10.55 per hour with eligibility for raises.
