Dr. Loizides received his Ph.D. from Western Michigan University with areas of specialization in social inequality (race, class, gender) and comparative/historical sociology. He is involved in a number of research projects, mainly revolving around social relations in industry during the Progressive era. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
