Teaching Interests: My teaching philosophy is that every student is capable of great success if they are given a facilitator/teacher who brings it out of them. A great teacher is one who works day and night, regardless of pay or time, to ensure their students are successful. Now I do expect hard work, to turn in all assignments, but for struggling students I believe in feedback and teaching them how to get better. No person should be ignored or left behind as the Military, Business world and many police entities strive to teach. I have worked with many troubled teens, college students, and higher to see what they may be lacking. My philosophy is to give students quality care, dedication and motivation. They will in turn give back effective and efficient work to build their character and make them great leaders in our society.

Research Interests: My current research focuses on the underserved population of family members of homicide victims.
