Education & Background:

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Behavioral Science and Sociology from Lakeland College in Sheboygan and later received my master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. I’ve enjoyed my career in higher education serving students in a variety of capacities including residence life, student activities, leadership development, registrar, and academic advisement. My love for travel and higher education has taken me around the world twice with Semester at Sea as a staff member. The experience provided me with a great appreciation for people of all cultures, their unique contributions to the world, and how education really does make a difference in people's perspectives of the world.

Free Time/Personal:

I enjoy garage sales, quilting, crafts, traveling, cross-country skiing, and teaching people how to make barn quilts. I’m married and have one daughter and two grandchildren.

I enjoy serving others and am involved with Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity and the Bridge to Hope Quilt Tour.
