Admissions Staff Bio:
Which season is your favorite? Why?
My favorite season is spring. It's really exciting when it starts to get warm in Wisconsin and you know that you survived another grueling winter. Granted sometimes spring only lasts for about a week or two in Wisconsin as opposed to a couple months. But I still really enjoy the weather and everything turning green again.
What is your favorite sandwich?
I am a sucker for a bacon cheeseburger. Especially if it comes with a side of fries.
You have a 10 minute speech to give to a high-school. What is it about?
Mental Wellness! I feel like mental wellness and mental health in general are topics that get overlooked and are not given enough attention. Especially in high school, because at that age it can be really hard to understand mental health and metal wellness. I also believe it can be challenging for high school students to know how to approach and talk about these topics. I would love to encourage students to discover what hobbies or tasks they can rely on to take care of their mind and de-stress from the craziness that's associate with daily life.
What would you rather read: fiction or non-fiction? Why?
I would rather read fiction. I love getting lost in stories and make believe worlds. Growing up I enjoyed Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Series of Unfortunate Events and a few other books. I am always amazed at seeing what kinds of tales and stories that authors can come up with.
If money were not an object, what would you do with your life?
Definitely travel! There are so many places that I want to travel to. New York, London, Paris, Ireland and Tokyo are a few places that come to mind that I would love to visit. Seeing different cultures and ways of living is always really intriguing.
