In November 2008, Lynn LaVenture and Patrice Taft were recognized by Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WCADVA) for their extraordianry efforts to end domestic violence in Wisconsin and for their contributions as "Changemakers."

Lynn Lynn LaVenture, MS K-12 School Counseling
Ms. LaVenture has worked in domestic violence for over 12 years as a children’s advocate, as well as providing support groups for children and family and children’s counseling. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence and helped develop a statewide Children’s Task Force for WCADV. She provides training and workshops addressing domestic violence as it relates to children and families. Patrice Taft, MS Mental Health Consultant
Ms. Taft has worked in domestic violence as a child and family counselor for over 16 years and over 13 years as a mental health consultant for Head Start. Presently, she is a member of the Governor’s Council on Domestic Violence. Ms. Taft provides training and workshops addressing domestic violence, sexual abuse, and parent and family issues. Ms. Taft is a mental health consultant in Eau Claire, WI; 715.834.3562.
