Career Services purpose is to help connect students and employers. Listed below are several ways your organization can consider to support your recruitment, branding, and relationship building efforts with UW-Stout.
On-Campus Interviews
We offer employers spacious interview rooms and offer complimentary parking on campus. Employers are encouraged to request on-campus interviewing through Handshake
- Determine interview date, Recruitment Calendar
- To schedule on-campus interviews, log in to Handshake. Click on "Interview Schedules" which includes the following:
- Complete interview schedule information and details
- Link/copy existing job in database or add new position
- Click save and submit request

Employer Presentations
Employer presentations, often called info sessions, open houses are informal introductions to your organization allowing recruiters to connect with students and increase your brand on campus. All sessions are held in the Memorial Student Center (MSC) and are scheduled by the employer.
Successful presentations can include the following:
- Short 15-30 minute presentation with Q&A
- Food and refreshments
- Recruitment materials
It is recommended that presentations be scheduled in advanced in order to advertise to students and faculty.
Employers are billed directly and responsible for costs.

Participate in Career Events
The Career Services office hosts several Career and Professional Events during fall and spring semesters. To receive an invitation be sure you are an approved employer with current contact information in Handshake.

UW-Stout Career Services can help you build relationships with UW-Stout program directors and faculty. If you are interested in a particular program, we can provide contact information.
Connecting with Student Organizations
UW-Stout has over 200 student organizations, clubs, and groups. Connecting with student leaders can be a great way to enhance your brand and recruitment efforts on campus.
