A Note to Graduate Students

The Writing Center is happy to assist graduate students with course projects and other papers. However, we do not offer assistance with Master's theses.

There are other resources that are available for help with theses. Here are two available resources at UW-Stout:

There are also third-party services that are available. You can find them by searching online, but be wary of sites that offer to write a thesis for you or do not offer credentials. Always make sure to do background research on any service that you are considering using.

Residence Hall Tutoring Hours *NEW*

The Center is pleased to offer Tuesday and Sunday walk-in evening tutoring in the freshman residence halls this fall.


The hours are as follows:

Tuesdays

8:00-10:00 pm in South Hall room 122

8:00-10:00 pm in CKTO room 169

8:00-10:00 pm in Red Cedar Hall room 047c

Sundays

8:00-10:00 pm in AFM room 103

8:00-10:00 pm in HKMC room 131

All students can take advantage of the residence hall hours, whether or not they live in the specific halls where the tutoring takes place.
