Writing Resources - Online Documents

In addition to tutorials, the UW-Stout Writing Center offers several resources on writing, reading, grammar, research, and documentation which may be of interest to both students and faculty alike. The documents below are available through the writing center for download, and there are also links to other sites that may be helpful in improving your writing abilities.

If an instructor would like to contact the Co-Directors of the Center, Dr. Andrea Deacon and Dr. Kristin Risley, or set up a short promotional class visit by a Center tutor, please e-mail: wcdirectors@uwstout.edu.

Most of these documents are available in .doc format, but some are in .pdf format and may require a .pdf reader if one is not currently installed. There are several program choices, and a link to the download page for these programs can be found below:

Writing Center Hours

The Writing Center hours for Spring 2015 are as follow:

The Writing Center will close Friday, May 8.   

Monday -- Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Library.

Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Library.

Additional Tutoring Hours

Evening & Weekend Tutoring hours are available to all students on a walk-in basis.

Evening & Weekend tutoring ends Sunday, May 10.
