Statistics on CommonSpot sites

User statistics on CommonSpot sites are collected and reported via Google Analytics. We provide monthly reports for subsites of the university upon request. The web team will configure Google Analytics to generate these reports, and they are emailed to you automatically.

To request monthly reports for your site, complete this form:

 

List all e-mail address to receive the Google Analytics reports

List the URLs of all the sites for which you want Google Analytics reports. Subsites will be included automatically, so they don't need to be listed. Each URL listed will result in a separate report.

The standard report provides a list of pages visited during the month and how many times they were viewed. This can be provided as a pdf or comma-separated values (csv) file which opens in Excel. Please choose the desired report format.

Report Field Definitions

Pageviews
The total number of pages viewed. Repeated views of a single page are counted.
 
Unique Pageviews
The number of visits during which one or more of these pages was viewed

Avg. Time on Page
The average amount of time visitors spent viewing this set of pages or page

Entrances
Entrances is the number of times visitors entered your site through a specified page or set of pages.

Bounce Rate
The percentage of single page visits resulting from this set of pages or page.

% Exit
The percentage of site exits that occurred from this set of pages or page.

Page Value (you can ignore this field)
Page Value is ((Transaction Revenue + Total Goal Value) divided by Unique Pageviews for the page or set of pages).
