Site-wide Navigation System

UW-Stout's navigation system was designed by Figleaf Software, our redesign vendor, in cooperation with the Website Redesign committee and web staff. The system reflects information architecture that generally organizes information by topic rather than by organizational structure. The navigation system consists of:

  • Global navigation (present on every page of the site)
  • Subsite navigation (left menu that is pertinent to the subsite you are on)
  • Content conventions (general rules about what type of content belongs in various sections of a normal page)
