The UW-Stout Web site is published by the Office of Integrated Marketing, which provides the design, structure, navigation and editorial conventions and oversees all official content about the university.

Technical services on the site are provided by Enterprise Information Systems, which is part of Learning and Information Technology.

Official content includes publications that describe the university as a whole or are used throughout the university, such as:

  • Home page and top-level index pages
  • General information about the university
  • Guide and maps
  • College and academic department sites
  • Sites for special topics
  • Events (Master Calendar)
  • Directories, site index, topical lists and basic contact information

The university web coordinator (Barbara Button; buttonb@uwstout.edu) is part of the Office of Integrated Marketing and publishes the content listed above, and provides overall coordination of design and content, site management, advice and consultation to departments and units.

Official content also includes information about the curriculum, degree programs, and institutional reports and initiatives. The university editor (Don Steffen, steffend@uwstout.edu) is part of the Office of University Communications and publishes the following sections of the website:
