Refund Policy
1. As stated on the membership form and the online waiver, Fitness Center memberships are non–refundable and non-transferable. This includes refund requests related to academic probation, dismissal, withdrawal, college transfer, or suspensions.
2. Refund will only be honored for medical reasons and military active duty. For medical refunds, a proof of medical issue from the doctor or hospital should accompany the refund request. For any refunds, a processing fee of $15.00 will be applied against the amount being refunded.
- We have two fitness centers: Health & Fitness Center & North Point Fitness (open 24hrs). You get access to both centers when you buy a membership.

What are the start and end date for each memberships?

Can I buy an Academic or Annual membership in Spring?
No. The Academic & Annual membership ends exactly on the dates given above. It will not go one year from the date of purchase even though it sounds like it. You will have to buy a Spring Semester membership instead.
If you will be here in Summer, it is cheaper to buy an Annual membership than buy a Spring semester and then a Summer.
What happens after I buy my membership?
We will activate your stout ID card within 2-3 days. So when you come in to use the fitness center, we will swipe the card to check your membership.
For those 2-3 days, you can still come and workout. you just have to show your yellow receipt as a proof of membership purchase.
I do not go to Stout. Can I get a community membership?
No. We do not allow community members to buy a membership. The fitness center is only for the students, faculty./staff and the family members of UW-Stout students and staff.
I didn't get the confirmation email ? So I cannot sign the waiver.
This usually happens if you entered the wrong email address. The only thing you have to do is come down to the fitness center, fill out a regular membership form, and then write on the membership form that "you did not receive the confirmation email".
Your information is in the database even though you didn't get the email.
I am buying a membership for my son and I don't know his student ID or email. Can I still buy it online?
The student ID is not required when you fill the online form. You can have your email on it and just forward the email to him when you find his email.
If I buy a family membership, can I bring my wife and my kids?
No. The family membership is per head. So you will have to buy a separate family membership for your wife and another one for your kid and another student or staff/faculty for yourself.
Can I buy a family membership for my girl friend ?
No. The family Includes immediate family members (spouse, domestic partner, child over 18, parent), retired faculty/staff of UW-Stout, and sister school reciprocity (UW RF and UW EC, CVTC, etc) students and faculty/staff.
If I buy a family membership, how will I access the 24 North Point fitness center?
We will have an family card which has a magnetic strip on it. So you can use that card to swipe and
access the NP fitness center.
