To apply for a job with Urec:

Be thoughtful, and complete when filling out your application. Messy or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Complete applications will be directed to the area in which applicants indicate interest.
Applications will be reviewed by the respective program area. If positions are available, qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.
If positions are not currently available, applications may be kept on file for future openings.
Interviews are conducted by Urec full-time Coordinators and sometimes Lead Student Managers.
All interview candidates are contacted at the end of the interview period. Candidates not offered a position will have their application kept on file for future openings.

Submitting Applications

In some cases applications may be submitted online. For form fill-in applications, please return applications to the Urec Office in room 41 of the Sports & Fitness Center. This site uses Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Word to view Job Descriptions.

Internships

University Recreation offers two internships, one in Intramural Sports and one in Stout Adventures. Internships are 10 months (August-May) and provide undergraduates or recent graduates with a great opportunity to gain valuable programming, administrative, and leadership experience. Anyone interested must apply as described in each internship position description.
