UW-Stout's 25 club sports and extensive intramural program will develop more than your mind.
The annual budget process is always at the beginning of the school year. The Stout Student Association's (SSA) Financial Affairs Director will send out an e-mail informing all Clubs of the mandatory meeting for Club Treasurers to attend.
After the budget process is completed, Clubs will be required to sign up for a budget hearing where each Club will present their budget to the Financial Affairs Committee (FAC). In the following days, the FAC will conduct deliberations and the final total budget proposed by the FAC will be brought to the SSA where it must wait 3 weeks until it can be voted on.
Note: SSA has established 2 Budget Training's dates. Each Sport Club MUST attend at least 1 of these training dates.

complete the OrgSync form on SSA's events page. Budget Training
sessions are designed to educate Sport Club Treasurers on the policies
and procedures that are necessary for spending the Club's allocations.
Info covered includes: How to spend your money, policies for spending,
what your budget is for, etc. Attending 1 of the 2 training's is
mandatory.
The online budget requests must be completed on OrgSync. No Submissions will be accepted after Midnight.

Sport Club must sign up for a 20 minute time slot. Sign up form is
located at the Bank Building (200 Main St) and you must include your
Club name. It is highly encouraged that you have as many Club officers
as possible attend the Budget Hearing.

Contingency funds are left over funds that SSA may allocate after the normal budget process. Clubs may request contingency funds by completing a Contingency Budget through the club's OrgSync page.
