Youth Climbing League

Youth Climbing League is a program for Menomonie area youth in 3rd through 6th grade. The climbing league provides 8 weeks of rock climbing instruction in a safe and fun environment.

Benefits & Program Highlights

  • Team coaches for personal instruction and training
  • Each session is capped at 12 participants to ensure a low instructor to participant ratio.
  • Free use of climbing equipment and rentals outside of the class during the 8 week session
  • Free registration to the Stout Adventures annual climbing competition in the spring.
  • 20% off pro shop items which can be used to purchase a chalk bag, chalk, harness, etc.
  • Bring a Friend Day - Towards the end of each session participants are encouraged to bring a friend or sibling for a day of free climbing
  • An opportunity for your child to safely expand their comfort zones in a social yet educational environment.

Registration

The program fee is $70 per child per session.  You can either complete the registration form and mail, fax or drop it off in person with your payment OR register and pay online.  Registration is 1st come, first served and sessions fill up fast, so register early!

Classes take place at the Stout Adventures indoor climbing wall, which is located at the southwest corner of the Sports & Fitness Center, Room 56 on the UW-Stout Campus.
