Stout Adventures
Introduction
Stout Adventures is a comprehensive outdoor recreation program open to students, faculty/staff, and the local Community. Established in 2001, Stout Adventures provides a variety of outdoor programming. Opportunities include:
- Challenge Course - Alpine Towers Design with two 50ft climbing towers a 30ft swing by choice and 9 low initiatives
- Indoor Climbing Gym - Two 30ft walls with 11 ropes and over 40 routes. Two sport routes available
- Trip & Clinic Program - Domestic and International trip destinations with many instructional clinics offered
- Equipment Rental Center - Everything you need to get outdoors yourself is available for rent
- Special Programs
Youth Climbing League - Climbing instruction for youth in grades 3-6
Freshman Wilderness Experience - Summer trips designed specifically for incoming freshman
RockFest - Annual Climbing Competition: March 1, 2014
Free Week - Free climbing the first full week of each semester
