Why have Fitness Assessments?

Low levels of cardiorespiratory fitness (below 20%) have been associated with an increased risk of premature death from all causes, and especially from cardiovascular diseases. Are you above or below the 20th percentile? A BMI of greater than 30 or less than 18 increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases: What is your BMI? If you are a female, between the age group of 30-39, and your upper body endurance is 27, the population norm classifies you as “excellent”: Where do you stand in comparison? Fitness Assessments are 10 dollars.

How do I schedule my Fitness Assessment?

Only HFC members can do a fitness assessment.

Fill the personal trainer request form and submit it at the HFC front desk, along with payment. Once you have submitted and paid for your assessment, a personal trainer staff will contact you within a few days to schedule your initial appointment and fitness assessment.
