Equipment Rental
Stout Adventures houses a large inventory of outdoor equipment available for rental. You can make any trip complete with one stop at Stout Adventures.
A University ID is required for students, and a drivers license is required of all community members. All reservations require pre-payment.
*Saturdays are available on the 2nd and 3rd Quaters Only.
Rental Rates
Stout Adventures now has 7 different Garmin GPS units available for rental FREE of charge to Stout students only. There are 4 Vista handheld units, 2 Rhino Units and 1 Forerunner 305 wrist top training unit.Rentals are for a max of 7 days and 1 Student ID is required for each GPS unit rented. - Kayaks are available for pick-up or drop-off during Stout Adventures hours of operation. Check for availability.
Rental Policies
- The Customer is solely responsible for the loading/unloading of canoe(s) and kayak(s) onto or in the vehicle or trailer.
- The Customer is responsible for the equipment’s condition upon return and will pay all repairs, loss, cleaning and late fees assessed upon return and/or found during the inspection period.
- Equipment not returned during regular open hours will be charged an improper return.
- All equipment rents on 24 hour basis.
- Payment must accompany all reservations.
- For all equipment, call for availability.
Refund Policy
All Equipment Rental Reservation require full payment at the time the reservation is made. The following outlines the refund policy on equipment reservations.
- If cancelled 2 weeks prior to reservation = Full Refund
- If cancelled 1 week prior to reservation = 50% Refund
- If cancelled within 72 hours of the reservation = No Refund
