The nature of energy, its discovery, conversion, and harnessing. Economic, environmental, political and social ramifications of energy-related choices.

TRANS-205 Energy Technology Lab 1 cr.
Mechanical, electrical, fluid and thermal power projects.

Prerequisites: take TRANS-204.

TRANS-395 Seminar 1-2 cr.
Specific content is designed to upgrade competencies of participants. Content will change to reflect current state of the art in electricity/electronics or power mechanics.   R
