Communication of Curriculum Changes

The system for communicating curriculum change is intended to place information on forth-coming action in the hands of individuals who should influence and participate in the decisions.  The system places information on completed and approved actions in the hands of those who are expected to implement these decisions.

In general, there are four groups of materials connected with curriculum changes. These are:

    The agenda for Curriculum Committee, including proposals for changes forwarded by the schools;
    The minutes showing actions of the Curriculum Committee;
    The approval statements, signed by the Provost and Chancellor, authorizing implementation of the change;
    The curriculum record, the university's official record of curriculum actions.
