Historic Second Street Corridor

The Historic Second Street Corridor provides a link to the historic past, while solving traffic problems that had troubled the downtown and the university for many years. Students, residents and visitors traveling along the route now have a scenic, yet safe corridor on which to walk and bike. In addition, the corridor provides access to a number of historic buildings and locations while linking the North and Main campus.

Shown here is the south end of the corridor. In the left foreground are columns representing the facade of the former Ray Hall. Directly in back of them is historic Bowman Hall. To the right of Bowman Hall is Harvey Hall. And in the right foreground is the Communication Technologies Building.
