I have given students (25) questionairres regarding their beliefs and attitudes about teaching art.

They will read, analyze and discuss 13 case studies this semester.

At the end of the semester, they will be given a questionairre regarding how the case study method assisted them in learning about art teaching, and if as a resullt of reading the cases, which one(s) altered their views or beliefs about art teaching.

They are required to create a course portfolio. They will include reflections on 2 case studies; one case that suprised them about art teaching and one case that altered their view of teaching art.

I will have this data in May, 2004.
