The Engagement Project
The Teaching and Learning Center and Title III are sponsoring the Engagement Project. The goal of the interdisciplinary group is to determine to what extent instructor-facilitated engagement practices affect learning. Six teachers are involved in the project: Jill Klefstad, Eileen Zito, Laura Schmidt, Nelu Ghenciu, Chris Lutz, and Sarah Wood.
Title III has partnered with the Teaching and Learning Center to support and help complete tasks associated with faculty development. For additional information on upcoming events: Title III Grant Project

Mentors
The NTLC mentors are faculty members who have agreed to assist teachers with their teaching. These experienced teachers are receptive to issues of teaching and invite you to contact them with questions.
The Nakatani Teaching and Learning Center (NTLC) encourages sharing and valuing of teaching and learning by all members of the University of Wisconsin-Stout community.
In addition, the TLC will work to create a climate in which colleagues find satisfaction in teaching and learning, enhance confidence about the effectiveness of teaching, and share effective learning practices.
