The Instructional Resources Service office is here to assist instructors in selecting, obtaining, and providing the materials they need for their courses. With the adoption of the digital materials program, instructors now have a much larger pool from which to choose. IRS will assist you in deciding what type of resource will best serve you, if you are in need of assistance. Resource Request Due Dates: In order to comply with the HEOA and to ensure that all content is available at the beginning of the semester, IRS asks that instructors submit their requests by the following times each year.

  • Fall resource requests: Mid-March
  • Win-term Resource Requests: Early October
  • Spring Resource Requests: Mid-October
  • Summer Resource Requests: Mid-March

Checking Your Resources

Please check at least two weeks before EACH semester that the resources you wish to use in your course(s) are correct. All textbook information is entered by hand, so your verification is the best method to ensure that students have the resources they need at the start of the semester.

If you add sections or over-enroll students in your course, please notify IRS of the change.
