* There is a new way to find out what books you need! *
A list of all of your required textbooks is available on Access Stout, on your "My Class Schedule Page". See Directions to View Required Textbooks for a walk-through.

Textbook Checkout

  • You must have your student ID or Driver's License with you.
  • * All textbooks from the previous semester must be returned, and all fines paid before new books can be checked out. *
  • After the first 10 days of class, students may use the remaining textbooks for leisure or research purposes. Any books checked out after the 10 day period are also due back the last day of class.
  • Instructor permission must be obtained to hold a textbook past the due date without penalty. This permission must be in writing, an e-mail is sufficient.

Textbook Returns

  • All textbooks are due back by the last day of finals (See IRS Fines and Fees for details).
  • You may return your books at any time in the semester, as soon as you are finished with them.
  • All textbooks are to be returned to IRS, not the main library.
  • A book drop is available after hours next to the 3rd Street entrance to the Swanson Learning Center, facing the Vocational Rehabilitation building. Do NOT use the book drop by the main library entrance.
