Conceptual drawing of North Campus

Over a 10 to 15 year period the North Campus Master Plan redefines North Campus and will create an innovative community that addresses the changing demands of college students of today and tomorrow. With this plan, North Campus becomes primarily a "move-up" community for juniors and seniors, with some sophomores and possibly some freshmen. Housing & Residence Life programs in this community will be tailored to these upper level students.

Conceptual drawing of new residence hall

Planning for Phase I Part I has begun. Stout Students will be asked to assist with identifying what will be included in a new residence hall. The campus has received permission to hire an architect firm to design a new "Suite-style" residence hall as the first phase of implementation of the North Campus Master Plan. The new hall, slated to open in Fall 2005, will house approximately 300 students. Each suite will likely contain several bedrooms, a private bathroom, kitchenette, and living room area.
