The Memorial Student Center
The The Memorial Student Center is a "community center" for members of the UW-Stout community-students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and guests. It is a place to get to know and understand one another. It also provides opportunities to learn through involvement and experimentation.

The Student Center represents a building, an organization, and a program which supports and enhances the special mission of UW-Stout by providing quality facilities, services and programs to the university community.

What is University Centers about?
University Centers sponsors events, workshops, retreats and activities that support students’ interest in getting involved on campus and in the community.  Looking for fun?  Look no further than University Centers for Welcome Back Bash, Texas Hold-‘Em, Talent Show, Thursday Night Out (TNO), Scooper Tuesdays and other events!  Whether or not a student is involved in a leadership role, there are workshops, retreats and online activities that support student leadership development.  Looking for volunteer or service-learning activities?  University Centers is the place to begin with programs like Yard Clean-Up and Alternative Spring Break, shaped by the interests of students and the needs of the community.  120 Student Organizations are recognized by the Stout Student Association  (SSA) in areas as diverse as music, service, sports clubs, religion, politics, entertainment, and intercultural interests, and are housed at University Centers in the SSA office.  A list of student organizations is online at www.uwstout.edu/student .  Most of these events are sponsored in and around the Memorial Student Center.  Check www.uwstout.edu/getinvolved/ for more information.
