POLICIES

NO SHOW FEE

If a group does not show up for their room reservation (and did not cancel it), they will be charged $25/room.  Any costs incurred for set-up will also be charged.

OVERNIGHT EVENTS

Requests for overnight events must be made at least 60 days prior to the event start date.  Requests are subject to approval based on facility and staffing availability


BOOKING PROCEDURE

All requests for space reserved by the MSC Reservations Office will be entered as  TENTATIVE  until all of the following details are received: room set-up details, technology needs, catering, and event schedule.

STANDARD MEETING ROOMS
Reservations for standard meeting rooms can remain in a tentative status until 14 days prior to the reservation start date.  After the 14 day deadline, the reservation will be cancelled if we have not received all of the event set-up details. 
Standard meeting room reservation requests submitted within 14 days of an event start date will be accommodated if possible.  Facilities and/or services may be limited.

LARGE EVENT SPACES
Reservations for large event spaces canremain in a tentative status until 21 days prior to the reservation start date.  After the 21 day deadline, the reservation will be cancelled if we have not received all of the event set-up details. 
Large event space reservation requests submitted within 21 days of an event start date will be accommodated if possible.  Facilities and/or services may be limited. Reservable spaces include: Great Hall, Ballrooms, Terrace, Outdoor Spaces, and any other non-standard reservable spaces

LATE CANCELLATION FEE
All reservations with or without technology must be cancelled at least one business day prior to the event start date. Any cancellations made after this time will incur a $25/room late cancellation fee. Any costs incurred for set-up may also be charged.   Rain sites will not be charged if not used.
