Special Interest Student Organizations

Black Student Union: promotes a sense of community among diverse racial, ethnic and cultural groups.
Blue Devil 4-H Club: promotes youth development and community awareness by doing service projects, including organizing activity days for children and providing meals for the elderly.
Blue Devil Productions: researches, selects, and produces events and activities for the University of Wisconsin-Stout student body and campus community.
Breaking Boundaries: raises awareness about people who have varying abilities in life
Colleges Against Cancer: Dedicated to fighting cancer through education, advocacy, and fundraising. CAC sponsors events such as the Relay For Life, the Great American Smoke Out, and a Breast Cancer Awareness Fair. CAC is affiliated with the American Cancer Society.
College Democrats: educates the UW-Stout community on the positions of Democratic candidates for public office and facilitates working relationships between interested UW-Stout students and Democratic candidates for public office.
College Republicans: instills in young adults an active interest in government and provides them with a vehicle for leadership and political training.
Epsilon Tau Sigma National Veteran's Fraternity: a social and recognition Fraternity founded by veterans intended to organize college students who have served in any of the Armed Forces of the United States in order to build morale among veteran students, conduct social and academic activities, and fund raising events for worthy charities.
Family Weekend Committee: plans, promotes and implements activities for Family Weekend.
Greensense: works to inform and involve students about environmental issues and concerns important to the University and the surrounding Dunn County region.
Greenparty: promotes grassroots democracy, social and economic justice.
Habitat for Humanity: affiliated with united Methodist campus ministries.
Hmong Stout Student Association: provides an effective means of self-government and an environment for intellectual, cultural, and social development.
International Relations Club (IRC): encourages friendly relationships among students, faculty and staff through a variety of programming activities.
Latinos Unidos [was Club Los Hispanos and Chispa]: promotes community awareness and understanding on campus and in the community of the Latin Cultures in the U.S. and abroad.
Organization of Adult Students Involved at Stout (OASIS): encourages an attitude of mutual support among adult students.
Photography Club: promotes art in the form of both conventional and digital photography. Members have darkroom privileges and access to high quality digital image editing equipment. Also, the club organizes galleries of student work each year.
P.O.N.G. ( People's Organization of Network Gaming): created to provide a communication channel for gamers on the UW-Stout campus. Our website provides an open forum of communication that allows gamers to find other gamers across campus with similar interests and meet in an on-line arena. PONG also provides hosting for events known as ?LAN (Local Area Network) Parties? that occur approximately once a month during the normal academic year. These events allow gamers to meet and greet each other in a non-online environment while still enjoying the on-line games they love.
Sick of Waiting on the World to Change: A non-partisan group dedicated to student activism by educating students locally, nationally and worldwide about global issues and allowing their voices to be heard and ideas to be put into play. By doing service projects, fundraisers, and lectures we help to demonstrate to people on campus and in our community that together we can create change.
Stout Brew Crew: The Stout Brew Crew is interested in bringing students together that are interested in the art of brewing beer and/or wine. The club welcomes brewers at any level from beginner to pro.
Stout Decorating Association: provides students with information and experience in regards to a career in Interior Decorating & Design, and an opportunity to meet other students with the same interests.
Stout Hand Drumming Club: exists to explore the heritage of musical and cultural diversity in African, Latin, and Middle-Eastern Cultures.
Students Participating in Representing Indian Tribes at Stout (SPIRITS): informs students of all Native American cultures, provides a support group for Native American Indian students, faculty, staff and all other interested parties.
Out@Stout: provides a safe, supportive, empowering meeting environment and facilitates educational awareness about gay, lesbian, and bisexual issues.
UW-Stout Auto Club: creates and stimulates interest in antique automobiles.
Women's Issues: explores social, economic and psychological aspects of women's issues
