Have you ever dreamed of running a marathon or half-marathon? Well, now's your chance to do so!
Here are the prerequisites to joining the team:
- The ability to run a 5K (3.1 miles) distance without walking
- The time to train
- Determination and enthusiasm
- Good Running Shoes
The training team will start practice after winter break. We will start by running together once-a-week. Besides the once-a-week group run team members are expected to run on their own and cross-train.
After spring break the team will begin to run 4 times/week together, each week increasing in distance. A detailed schedule will be available soon that outlines the plan after spring break.
