About LSA & The Ministry

In 1969, a small group of dedicated men and women joined together their talents and vision to begin an ecumenical campus ministry center on the UW-Stout campus.  The goal of the founding staff was to gather the university community together to share the “Good News”, and to engage in conversation about the unique Christian traditions and values which have shaped the lives of so many.

The Ministry to the University of Wisconsin-Stout is a faith partnership among the Catholic and ELCA Lutheran community traditions. For the University and the local congregations of the greater community,

our partnership offers ecumenical outreach, service, and spiritual opportunities, spiritual/pastoral care, networking, mentoring, and hospitality at the “big blue house.”

We continue to move toward the formation of an ecumenical Christian community of empowerment.

We encourage growth in faith, conscience formation, and development of leaders for ministry in keeping with the Christian Scriptures and our various faith traditions.

The Ministry is current led by Pastor Kurt Larson and Christine Warloski . The 'big blue house' is located on North Campus between Subway and Flemming Hall.
