Differential Pay:

Weekend Differentials

Many jobs on campus provide a weekend differential. This rate is an additional 30 cents applied to each hour that you accumulate on your time card. A weekend hour is considered to be after 4pm Friday to 6:30am Monday morning.

Evening Differentials

Similarly to a weekend differential, the nightly differential is added to each hour worked, starting at 8:00pm, and running through 6:00am, Monday through Thursday. The nightly differential rate is also 30 cents per hour.

Raises:

Raises may be made at the employer's discretion, however; hourly wage increases may not increase the students' wage beyond the maximum limit for the particular job group the student is classified under.

All employees, including new, must be paid at least the minimum wage for their respective job classification, however, may be paid anywhere within that range at the discretion of the employer.
