Meeting Times
We have meetings once a month and one or two activities per month. Come to the meetings to help plan the activities! All students at UW-Stout are encouraged to come to any of our activities and you are welcome to join IRC any time.

Become an Officer
IRC offers many opportunities for leadership. An executive committee is made up of six representatives from various countries. Serving a one-year term, they have the responsibility to promote international understanding on campus. All students are eligible to run for an office.
Elections are held each September to fill the following offices:

Responsibilities:

Chief Advisor/ Coordinator:

Determine the IRC's Mission and Purpose
To ensure overall coordination within the IRC.
To host International week to promote international awareness in the UW-Stout community.
To Determine and Monitor the IRC’s activities.
To Ensure Effective Planning.


President:

To lead the IRC, members, events and activities.
To conduct the IRC general meetings.
To call the general and mid-term election (when required) election for IRC board members every year.
To represent IRC in different on-campus activities.
To decide IRC board/general meetings place and time


Vice President

To help president conduct the IRC general meetings.
To review plans, policies and current activities in the IRC.
To ensure coordination between IRC board member.
To help president in coordinating with different UW-Stout student associations including Stout Student Association (SSA).



Treasurer

To prepare and maintain annual financial report for the IRC.
To keep track with the IRC events and expenditure through out the year.
To Ensure Adequate Resources for the successful accomplishment of any mission or activitiy undertaken by the IRC board member.
To help all Managing Resources Effectively


Secretary

To call the IRC officers meetings and general meetings consulting with the president.
To present current agendas in the IRC general meetings.
To maintain records of The IRC participation.
To make note of the decisions made by the IRC members in the IRC meetings.
To circulate the minute among all the IRC members.
To let all the IRC members know about current IRC events through e-mails.
To maintain records of current IRC members.


Public Relations

To develop, maintain and strengthen public relations of the IRC.
To collect feedbacks from IRC community.
To encourage participations in each IRC meetings.
To Enhance the IRC's Public Image


Web Master

To design, develop and upgrade the IRC web site.
To feed current events into the IRC web site.
To arrange the venue for the IRC general meetings.
To coordinate with the rest of the IRC board members before making any changes in the IRC web site.
