ASID Mission Statement:

ASID advances the interior design profession through knowledge generation and sharing, advocacy of interor designers' right to practice, professional and public education and expansion of interior design markets.

ASID | Student Connections:

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a nonprofit professional organization catering to the interests of interior designers and the interior design community. ASID helps the progression of the interior design profession through educating, networking, building the interior design community, and promoting interior design. ASID believes that design enriches the way we live our lives. ASID also firmly believes that design is about improving the quality of life, increasing productivity, and protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public. ASID is the leading professional organization for interior designers with the largest residential and commercial membership. With more than 38,000 members, ASID establishes a common identity for professionals and businesses in the field of interior design.
