The welcome mat will be out the week of March 23-27 with three special events for students who are interested in enrolling at UW-Stout.

Transfer Tuesday will be held Tuesday, March 24, followed by a Campus Preview Days event Friday, March 27, and a Stout Saturday event on Saturday, March 28.

The events, hosted by the Admissions Office, include tours of campus and admissions overview, a panel discussion with UW-Stout students and opportunities to meet with academic program directors and officials from various offices, such as financial aid, athletics, the Honors College and Career Services.

For more information, including times and how to register, go to www.uwstout.edu/admissions/visit.cfm or call 800-447-8688 (800-44-STOUT) or 715-232-1232.

Registration for fall classes begins Wednesday, April 1.

Transfer Tuesday is designed for students interested in transferring to UW-Stout from another school. “UW-Stout is considered the most transfer-friendly campus within the UW System,” said Pam Holsinger-Fuchs, executive director of Enrollment Services.

The Campus Preview Days event is geared toward high school students who are in the process of choosing a college. Other Campus Preview Days are scheduled Friday, April 3, and Friday, April 10.

The Stout Saturday event also targets high school students who would like to know more about UW-Stout. Another Stout Saturday will be held Saturday, April 11, and will be a chance for foster youth to attend a special day designed for them. Contact Admissions for more information about the foster youth event.

Individual and group campus visits also can be scheduled.
