Exhibit, cultural show cap off International Week

The Office of International Education and UW-Stout are celebrating International Week with a variety of activities on campus.

The week will culminate with a cultural show and exhibits from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Great Hall at the Memorial Student Center. Admission is $5 for UW-Stout students and $6.5o for the public. Light refreshments will be served. 

Exhibits are at 6 p.m. and the cultural show at 7 p.m.  

“We extend an invitation to the campus community to join students as they share their cultures,” said Vickie Kuester, OIE associate director. “We are excited to promote awareness and to celebrate the international diversity that can be found on campus. International education and exchange help foster global understanding.”  

Other events include:

  • The Culture and History of Pakistan, 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, Ballroom C, student center.
  • Holidays Around the World, noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, Ballroom C, student center.  

UW-Stout has 241 international students from 32 countries this fall.
