Top Five Young Adult Books of the Past Five Years -  Rubric

Task:
Refer to the evaluation criteria discussed during the course, thus far, and in the text, as well as, the knowledge gained through your reading for module 4.

Select YOUR top five choices of Young Adult books from among those you have actually read and which have been published within the past five years.  The selections may be from any genre, fiction or informational, poetry, etc. but must represent the best of the best.

A = 363 pts. to  400 pts. 
B = 322 pts. to 362  pts
I = less than 322 pts. Must resubmit
Discussion = 200 points (20 points per week)

Pop Culture Paper (Mini-expert Paper) (Module 3) = 30 pts

Book Talk Plan (Module 5) = 40 pts

Final Project (Module 8) = 80 pts

Annotation includes a minimal summary of the plot/characters AND adequate evaluative comments. Annotation with summary and evaluative comments not complete.
